Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning - James 1:17

When I am filled with His love, His grace, and His Spirit,
I will remember my Source and give Him all the glory;
For apart from Him am I not naked, gross, sin-filled, and without merit?
What have I that I have not received from the Hand of my Almighty Father?

I will remember the exceeding kindness and mercy of God Who is love!
Unceasingly, into my unworthy heart, He pours Heaven's grace, 
Not because of who I am, but wholly because of Who He is;
O shall I not sing and make music unto the Lord with all my soul?

How can I forget the Beauty from above, That lifted the worm from below?
Cleansed in the Blood of His love, His Spirit is daily conforming me to His Son!
Now endowed with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ, 
O my soul, will you not praise, and continually bless the One 
Who chose you in Him before the foundation of the world?
