Call Me Blessed

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3

Anchored in Truth, call me blessed
Anchored in Love, call me blessed
Anchored in the One in Whom I live and move and have my being.

Deriving my identity, my purpose, only from Him Who
Died to purchase my freedom, and rose to give me life
Destined before the foundation of the world for all-sufficient atonement for my sins.

Who or what can compare to the eternal, boundless beauty of Jesus
When the eyes of my heart have been opened to behold a measure of His glory?
What passing earthly treasure, what idol can stand in the radiance of the glory of God?

The Holy Spirit of the One from above alone reveals to a meekened heart
The One from above, the Bread of Life, the True Light, the unspeakable Gift,
The River whose streams make glad the city of God.

What heavenly treasure our Maker pours into earthen vessels?
What divine riches of grace He lavishes on us?
What heights of purity He will bestow on us who were once dead in trespasses?

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
