Why Can We Delight in Him?

"Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ." Ephesians 2:4-5a



When we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

When we were dead because of our sins, God made us alive with Christ.

When we go astray, He is the seeking Shepherd.

When we are lonely, He will never leave us nor forsake us.

When we are confused, He is our wisdom.

When we are weak, He is our strength.

When we are full of guilt, He is the merciful God who forgives.

When we need direction, He is our Light.

When we are sorrowful, He is our Comforter.

When we are without hope, He is our Hope.

When we need love, He loves us with an everlasting love.

When we are anxious, He is our Peace.

When we face death, He is the Resurrection and the Life.
